Elizabeth use’s functional and pathology testing to look at how the body is currently functioning. The root cause of any health complaint is specific to the individual and based on multiple factors such as genetics, diet, lifestyle, toxicity exposure, and psychological and physical stress.
Testing may be useful to understand the body as a whole and may help identify the cause of your health issues.
Some of the tests that may be utilised include but not limited too:
- Complete Digestive Stool Analysis
- Complete Thyroid Panel
- Hormone Testing including DUTCH test or Salivary Adrenocortex Stress Profile
- Urinary Pyrroles
- Organic Acids Test
Functional pathology testing is ordered depending on a client’s health concern. It works to not only identify the root causes but can serve as a compliance tool for client motivation.
All testing is done at an additional charge to your consult fees.
The 500 Item Bio-Compatibility ($249):
This is a hair test (or saliva), that determines how your cells are impacted by common foods and/or products and the way in which these affect the flow of energy through the body. By feeding the body in line with the Bio-compatibility test results we are enhancing cellular function. It may be useful in skin conditions, hayfever, fatigue, headaches, bloating and more. The test covers a list of over 500 standard items – including all food groups, bathroom, laundry, and kitchen products. For more information on hair testing please click here.
Food Intolerance Testing ($300):
It is a simple non-invasive test blood test for food antibodies (IgG) involving collecting just 1ml of blood from a quick prick of the finger. The sample is used to check your immune response to close to 60 foods. For more information on Food Intolerance testing click here.
DNA & Nutrigenomics Testing ($300):
DNA Testing can be added to your consultations at an additional cost. Genetic profiling investigates genes involved in nutrient absorption and metabolism, our genetic ability to remove environmental chemicals and pollutants, as well as genetic susceptibility for chronic inflammation and oxidative stress that are the underlying drivers of many health conditions. It’s not about diagnosing a disease, but rather understanding genetic strengths and weaknesses. Once you have information about your genetic makeup, you then make decisions about how they can change their current lifestyle, such as their diet, in order to improve their health and wellbeing.
